Kirkland Math Tutor strives to provide a professional and supportive learning environment for all students. To ensure clarity and fairness, the following policies apply to all tutoring services:

1. Payment Policy

• All payments are due at the beginning of each month, in advance, for all scheduled sessions.
• Accepted payment methods will be specified during the registration process. Receipts will be provided electronically upon request.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

Private Tutoring Sessions:

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to qualify for a reschedule or credit.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session will result in the session being forfeited without a refund.

Group Lessons:

• Group lessons have a strict no make-up and no-refund policy for missed sessions, regardless of the reason. 

3. No-Show Policy

A no-show is defined as failing to attend a scheduled session without prior notice.

For private tutoring, no-shows will result in the session being forfeited without refund or rescheduling.

No-shows for group lessons will not be eligible for make-up sessions or refunds.

4. Refund Policy

Refunds are not provided for group lessons or private sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice.

For private tutoring, refunds may be issued for cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance or if sessions are canceled by the tutor.

5. Scheduling Adjustments

Clients are encouraged to provide as much notice as possible for scheduling adjustments. Efforts will be made to accommodate changes for private sessions with sufficient notice.
